We have chosen the Miniature Dachshund as our special breed because of the independent, irresistible appeal and classic beauty.  At Dapple Doxie, we have been working for years to produce beautiful quality dachshunds that are pleasing to the eye and correct to the standards. Our Miniatures Dachshunds weigh between 8 to 11.5 lbs. and stand less than 10" at the shoulders.

Dachshunds adjust to almost any situation. They are great with children when raised with children.  They do well in apartments, houses, and farms. They are awesome companions for the elderly and make wonderful therapy dogs.  With the proper care, a dachshund can have a long and enjoyable life and live up to 11 to 16 years of age and longer.

No puppy leaves our home until they have been wormed and have had their first vaccination. Puppies are sold with a One Year Written Health Guarantee. We gladly ship anywhere in the United States in addition to the puppy cost. All new puppy owners are encouraged to keep in contact with us, and call us at any time with questions, or to keep us informed on how your puppy is doing.
